To say 2020 has been a challenge would be an understatement.
In Australia we entered the New Year suffering catastrophic bushfires followed by the arrival of the pandemic two months later.
We witnessed centuries of injustice boil to the surface and a long overdue dialogue become part of daily discussions.
It would be easy to wish the last month of 2020 away, and hope that something better comes when the clock strikes midnight on December 31st. But that would be admitting defeat - that 2020 got the best of us.
The reality is that collectively we have the strength and power, not just to keep going, but to make things better.
If 2020 has gifted me one thing, it is awareness and the belief that we can all be agents of change, the magnitude is not important - it's the intent.
More than ever, we need to hold up those who are down, and champion those with a vision and mission for the future.
Together we can create changes, no matter how small they are.
With your help, we will be donating 10% of all sales between now and 23rd December to St Kilda Mums and Children's Ground.
I look forward to writing to you on the 23rd with the receipts of our donations.
In between now and then, stay safe, stay healthy and look after one another.
